Clients are the key to earning enough money to get the Ultimate Item™. Only clients will allow you to rake their yards and earn income.
When you visit your neighbors, some will agree to become clients right away. Others might not say yes until their yards get a bit out of their control.
If their yards become half-full, they’ll send a message to your parents, who will let you know you need to treat their yard as urgent.
Losing Clients
Be careful! If you visit a client with a full yard and cannot rake their leaves that day, they might find that their yard is overfilled the next day and fire you immediately. Make sure you have have the energy, time, and supplies to tackle the yard right away, even if you can’t finish it.
You don’t want to overextend yourself. Start out with one or two clients until you feel you have their yards under control, then find another client when you feel ready. You might find that you can comfortably handle only a handful of clients at once, and any more will mean that some clients will find their yards are ignored.
It is very important to keep your clients happy. Unhappy clients become ex-clients, and ex-clients will never rehire you.
Game Over
If you lose one client, you may find another neighbor willing to hire you, but if you lose all of your clients, you lose the game.
